with some causes receiving over $10,000 each.

Our renewable energy holiday cards were a big hit last year so we have expanded our selection for 2012. We’ve added several more designs including wind energy, solar energy and hydro power. Cards for Causes Donates 110,000 meals to help America’s Hunger Problem

We were recently contacted by Feeding America to let us know that our donations to date had provided over 110,000 meals to people who need help. In reviewing all of the hunger related charities that we have donated to, we discovered that the number of meals we have provided is over 200,000, thanks to our customer’s orders. We are thrilled that we have been able to help so significantly and we look forward to making more donations to hunger related as well as the other charities in our database. Our goal continues to be donations of $1,000,000 or more to charities nationwide.

Cards for Causes Makes Donation to Local No-Kill Shelter

We visited the League for Animal Welfare this week to give them our donation check for our Facebook promotion which ended on 12/13/10.

Jennifer gave us a tour of their facility and we met many of the dedicated volunteers that work there caring for the dogs and cats as well as working with families who hope to adopt a pet. We were happy to present them with a check for the equivalent of 220 meals in appreciation of our customers coming to our Facebook page and hitting the “Like” button.

I hope that all of you that are pet owners take the opportunity to seek out a ‘No Kill” Shelter in your communities and support them with a donation or with your time as a volunteer.
